Hi There! I am Carrie Kot, a full time 1st grade teacher in New York. I began teaching in 2011 and have taught 1st and 2nd grade (special education and ENL students). I am a teacher, wife, mother, entrepreneur, and I am always up for a new adventure.
I am one of those teachers that likes to keep up on best practices and I always finding myself changing my practice to meet the needs of my students. Even though education and teaching are ever changing, I still hold on to ideas and things that I have learned that help me to move my kiddos forward.
As a teacher, I like to support other educators and parents by provided the tools they need to achieve success. I take what use in my classroom and share it with the world. I love creating lessons, activities, games, digital resources that make learning and teaching fun.
My Family
I have 2 crazy daughters and a husband. We are pretty simple and enjoy each other’s company, taking vacations, and being active.
